Who we are

The Parent Coach program involves a team of Parent Coach and Parent Coach Case Coordinator working in partnership with the caregiver(s) on challenges of all levels, including within the home, accessing resources, as well as support with other service providers.  Parent coaching is when the primary caregiver(s) meets with a professional coach in a collaborative effort to affect the desired change within the household.  Parent coaching can involve the use of psycho-education, evidence-based strategies, and role-modelling to address familial issues related to family functioning and household organization.  The Parent Coach Case Coordinator is responsible for the service planning, oversight of the Parent Coach (if one is involved), and supporting the family with system navigation.
